Oooff. Just about squeaking in on Friday. It’s been one of those days …
Having negotiated Blue Monday I always begin to feel a bit more cheery towards the end of the month helped by the lighter nights - it’s not getting dark until after 4.30 now - and events such as Chinese and Vietnamese New Year and Burns Night. And this year, as I’ve mentioned, heading off to BRAZIL. I know, I know. It’s indecent to gloat but I’ve never been before and I’m really excited about it
And actually January so far hasn’t been too shabby at all with some splendid feasts from which one can always pick up tips for entertaining at home. Or, as I prefer to put it, having friends round.
I’ve also finally sorted out this month’s cookbook giveaway which is Gill Meller’s fabulous new book Outside …
