Hello, hello, it’s the weekend again and peak time for buying your Christmas booze. You’ll find my suggestions in the Guardian this weekend to go with the festive recipes in Feast along with suggestions of just one bottle to go with the big meal if you want to whittle the choice down. But since I suspect quite a few of you shop at Waitrose here’s my pick of their current £10 fine wine promotion.
By the way - extra tip - I’m writing this from a rather charming cafe/restaurant called Bayte in St Leonards where I’m tucking into a breakfast of sourdough toast and apricot jam. The evening menu, which currently includes a radicchio tart with bagna cauda (yum), looks great too. It’s in the current Good Food Guide.
