Postcard from Bastia

And an epic Corsican breakfast

I wasn’t going to post again from this trip until I did my main round-up but I wanted you to know a) that I survived and b) that Bastia has much more to offer than you might have gathered from my somewhat gloomy report the first day including this magnificent church.

Not least my enchanting Chambres d’Hôtes which I stumbled across through the posh website Mr & Mrs Smith. Not normally somewhere I look for accommodation but once I’d spotted it there was no going back.
