So it’s just under a week until my first Bring a Bottle online wine tasting and I can’t wait to hang out with you all.

Hopefully …

I’ve used Zoom a lot over the last few years but generally as a participant rather than the host. I’ll try and record it for those of you who can’t join us so I hope none of you have problems with that.

I’m assuming, being the first one, that the numbers will be manageable but it would be helpful if you could drop me a line at fiona@matchingfoodandwine.com if you’re thinking of coming (some of you already have), just so I know who to look out for.

The aim of these sessions is to have a relaxed chat about wine as if we were in a wine bar. It’s not a tutored tasting, just an opportunity to hang out with fellow wine lovers.

You don’t need to be an expert just enjoy a good glass of wine

The first session which, just to remind you, is next Wednesday, April 12th at 6pm GMT is is on pinot noir so bring along your favourite bottle or one you’d like to try.

If you’re reading this and would like to join us but are not a paid subscriber you can sign up for as little as £4.50 a month though an annual subscription at £42, which works out at £3.50 a month, is better value. (It includes all my weekly food and wine tips, giveaways and discounts too.)

You’ll find suggestions of wines to bring along, snacks to go with them and the zoom link below
